The renovation and expansion of NCH North Naples Hospital’s NICU represents a significant investment in healthcare infrastructure, aimed at improving the quality of care for newborns and their families.
The project included a 9-bed addition to the existing NICU, providing additional space for critically ill newborns who require specialized care. In addition, a two-story addition was constructed onto the existing OB building to accommodate new NICU support spaces, including a new level 2 nursery.
The project also involved the renovation and expansion of physicians on call sleep rooms, providing a comfortable and restful environment for medical staff who work long hours caring for newborns in the NICU.
The attention to detail and focus on creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for newborns and their families is evident throughout the project. The newly expanded and renovated NICU facilities are designed to provide the highest level of care and support for critically ill newborns, while also ensuring the comfort and well-being of their families.
