After 16 months of hard work, the Punta Gorda Terminal Expansion project reached its successful completion. With four phases in total, this project included a stunning 40,000 sq.ft. addition to the existing terminal building, a complete remodel of the terminal for a total area of 57,000 sq.ft., and updates to both the conveyor belt system and chiller plant. This impressive feat was recognized by the Lee BIA Summit Awards, which awarded the project the title of Best Commercial Contractors Project – Public Works.
